Northeast Building Products Reviews
NBP Windows and Doors has been around since 1975 and operates two main factories, one in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Bridgeport, Connecticut. The company manufactures a handful of good window and patio door series that they sell using local window and door dealers (as is typical for most window companies). Their distribution areas include much of the eastern half of the country (although much less prevalent in the southern states). Check out all of our Northeast Building Products Reviews located toward the bottom of this webpage.
What I Think: Maybe not their Pro, but the Northeast Building Products Crusader Elite is a vinyl window I'd have in my home. The Pro Plus is kinda right on the edge for me. I'd probably pass unless the price point was too good not to pull the trigger. On another note, while I don't talk about it much here, the NBP WindForce impact window is a cost effective option. If I were in the market for hurricane windows, I'd certainly get a bid on the WindForce (assuming there is a local dealer who carries it). So, at the end of the day, Northeast Building Products is a good manufacturer in my estimation.

Northeast Building Products Windows
The company sells a number of windows and patio doors. These include their Camelot series that comes in several specialty shapes that include bay and bow windows, garden windows, and a slider patio door. NBP also offers the Pro series, which is their entry level vinyl window that can be ordered in the following styles: double hung, slider, picture, and hopper.
A step up from this is the Pro Plus, which uses a heavier mainframe from the Pro series with an optional foam filled frame upgrade. The Pro Plus comes in the same styles, but offers more frame colors and hardware options. Finally, NBP offers their best vinyl window in the Crusader Elite series. This window comes in an array of styles, frame and hardware options. The Crusader Elite achieves a .03 air infiltration rating (an excellent number by the way).
Northeast Building Products Prices
The price points listed below are guesstimates only. Local companies will often bid prices out high (hoping that you take it without comparing bids). So, this is why we always recommend collecting a handful of bids to see what the fair market price is for your replacement windows and door.
Camelot Series (specialty shapes): $1500 installed.
Pro Series (base vinyl window): $800 installed.
Pro Plus Series (upgraded vinyl window): $900 installed.
Crusader Elite Series (premium vinyl window): $1050 installed.
WindForce Series (premium vinyl window): $1650 installed.
NBP Warranty Information
NBP offers a limited lifetime warranty on their windows and patio doors that is transferrable to one subsequent owner. The warranty stipulates that NBP products be free from manufacturing defects for as long as the original buyer or subsequent owner resides in the home. However, the subsequent owner is only covered in total for 10 years from the purchase date. Then the coverage is prorated — meaning that in year 16 and after, the new owner is only covered for 25% of the replacement window cost. All in all, a pretty weak window warranty in my opinion.

Northeast Building Products Reviews
John, I have three quotes on 18x double hungs and 2x Sliding Doors. First, is Stanek Windows - they build their own windows. So, its double-pane insulated, high performance Comfort-Gard® PLUS Low-e and argon filled glass with SuperSpacerTM for superior design pressure (DP) ratings for longevity and dependability. So, total Project: $57,513, which includes the windows and doors.
Then we have Sears Home Improvement - 18x Wincore 7700 series windows. So, Windows Project: $16,243 - price was good only for 72 hrs! Cost For 2 Doors: $6,883. Therefore, total for Project: $23,126.
Lastly, Power HRG Windows of Maryland. 18x Windforce (Northeast Building Products - I believe the Window is the Windforce). So, I will double check but it looks very similar to the Windocore from Sears, the Provia from Nova, or the Okna from Stanek! Total Windows Project: $23,340 (today's price) or $26,260 (1 year price). So, total Project with doors: $30,655 (today's price) or $34,490 (1 year price).

Brenda, Stanek makes an absolutely fantastic impact window. However, my oh my is that ever a steep price tag. I definitely like Wincore, but Sears Home Improvement installation raises some alarms for me. If you are going to go this route, you will have to do some research on who is gonna do the work and make sure they have good past reviews. NBP is a quality manufacturer. ProVia and Okna Windows are two of my absolute favorites. So, you definitely have some options here. I hope I've summed up the information you gave me, some of it was a bit confusing as to what you have here.
