Window Replacement Cost Calculator Q And A
Just received a quote for vinyl siding, replacement windows and new entry door. Question why can't I have a quote for the windows alone. Instead of the whole package? The Rep said no, because I am having multiple projects done simultaneously. Can you help with this?

Website Editor's Answer
Brenda, I'd move on to the next company or bid. There is no reason why you can't have a single company do the windows of your home. Sometimes it gets tricky when you are working with a general contractor, but there should be no reason why you can't do the windows as a standalone project. Simply keep getting window bids until you find a company that will give you a good window at a good price and is willing to just tackle windows.

Soft-Lite Imperial LS vs. Revere Berkshire Elite
I've narrowed down my search for 8 casement windows. Either the Revere Berkshire Elite (BarrierXP glass): Window Costs: $3980. Or the Soft-Lite Imperial LS (SB60 Glass): Window Costs $3980. So, do you have any opinions between these two options?
Andy - Homeowner - May, 2018
Website Editor's Answer
Andy, Soft-Lite Imperial LS windows are by far the better made of these two windows. Assuming the installation is equal in quality, I wouldn't hesitate to go with the Soft-Lite option.
