HiMark Windows Prices
HiMark windows prices are some of the most expensive vinyl window prices out there, ranging from $40 to $70 per square foot for the window itself, depending on the model you select and the upgrades you opt for.
HiMark is a division of sorts of Okna Windows - essentially they sell through an exclusive list of distributors and require installation through their own factory trained and certified installers (similarly to Renewal By Andersen and Champion vinyl windows).
The result is a slightly more expensive project cost because the homeowner will pay more for the factory trained installation. The plus side is that consumers can be assured of a quality installation, which I think is worth it because you minimize the chances that something will go wrong in the future. Also, if an issue does come up, you know who to talk to, as opposed to using non factory trained installers who simply carry several brands.
HiMark and Okna manufacture some of the best windows in the business and really they don't make a bad window. Depending on the price point, consumers really can't go wrong with buying a Himark replacement window, new construction or patio door.

HiMark Windows Ratings
The following performance numbers are taken from the double hung window using the standard low-e glass and argon fill. With an upgrade to the Deluxe glass package, consumers can expect the U-factor and SHGC to improve.
HiMark 400 Window: .28 U Factor, .30 SHGC, .05 Air Infiltration
HiMark 500 Window: .25 U Factor, .28 SHGC, .02 Air Infiltration
HiMark 800 Window: .25 U Factor, .24 SHGC, .01 Air Infiltration

The HiMark 400 window series is the entry level vinyl window in this somewhat exclusive line of windows. HiMark is an Okna window series that is sold through a somewhat more exclusive list of dealers, and the installation is done by factory trained installer (and must be installed by these Okna trained teams.)
The 400 series uses a slightly more narrow frame than the upgraded HiMark 500 series, which provides for more glass area, but at the cost of a bit of durability in the extrusion and a slight decrease in the overall energy efficiency of the window. The 400 HiMark has a few other very subtle differences, including weatherstripping and a couple little differences in available components and hardware options.
Consumers can expect good energy efficiency, especially with the DX model; .28 U-value, .30 SHGC and .05 air infiltration. In general, the HiMark 400 window is considered a good quality vinyl window that is on par with many manufacturers mid range to even premium offerings. The HiMark 400 Window Series gets a 4.3 out of 5 star rating.
The Okna Starmark window uses a composite frame that is somewhat thick, but does offer nice clean sightlines. The Starmark also offers excellent performance numbers and will offer U-factor and air infiltration that is roughly equivalent to the HiMark 800 Series. The Starmark is considered one of the top composite windows on the market, if not the flat out best. It isn't cheap, but it does offer good value for the money.
HiMark does not mention Starmark windows on their website, meaning that they don't carry this window under the HiMark brand name. Consumers who are interested in this premium composite window should be able to order it through their HiMark dealer or through an Okna dealer in your area. The Okna Starmark window generally gets excellent reviews from contractors and consumers alike. The HiMark Starmark Window Series gets a 4.8 out of 5 star rating.
The HiMark 500 window is the mid range offering that is considered one of the better vinyl windows out there and one of the best long-term values available on the market today. HiMark is a brand made by Okna windows that are sold through an exclusive list of dealers. HiMark window are installed only by factory trained installation teams. This will add a bit to the overall cost of the window, but it also ensures an accurate installation and less repair costs.
The HiMark 500 model can be ordered as a replacement or new construction window option. It includes some very nice upgrades to the HiMark 400 window, including a better Duralite spacer and a stronger sill.
Standard features on the 500 Series include a beveled colonial frame, a 3¾" depth mainframe, optional auto-lock, a Heatseal spacer, an integral interlock, fiberglass half screen, double weatherstripping, and extruded sash handles.
In terms of options, the HiMark 500 comes in a white, cocoa, or almond interior. For the outside, consumers can choose from white, brown, cocoa, bronze, almond and sandstone, almond, as well as three hardware color options. The HiMark 500 Window Series gets a 4.6 out of 5 star rating.
The HiMark 800 EnviroStar window is considered one of the best vinyl window replacement option on the market. It combines excellent performance ratings, a well-made vinyl extrusion, and high end features and components. All of which combine to make a very durable vinyl window that feels as solid in your hands and will provide consumers with excellent long term value and performance.
The 800 series window includes a slew excellent features, including a 3 1/4" depth mainframe, beveled colonial frame, true sloped sill, multi chambered mainframe, recessed vent and tilt latches, composite sill reinforcement, magnetic seals and triple weatherstripping. The 800 Series uses a heavier extrusion than the 500, making it feel a bit more substantial. This is going to help a bit in terms of the performance, which is excellent on both windows.
The HiMark 800 window can be ordered with many hardware options, including brushed nickel, matte bronze, adobe gray and antique brass. Homeowners can choose from some 8 exterior frame color option and 4 interior color color options, including several wood laminates. These faux wood grain finishes mimic the look of real wood, without the maintenance needs and lower energy efficiency that organic materials such as wood often deliver. The HiMark 800 Window Series gets a 5 out of 5 star rating.
The HiMark 800 Enviro-Star achieves some very impressive performance ratings, including a .25 U factor, .25 SHGC, .42 VT, DP60, and .01 Air Infiltration.
HiMark vinyl windows will range in cost from $40 to $70 per square foot for the windows. For additional pricing information, see our window cost estimator page for hundreds of different projects options and prices.
The HiMark warranty should be identical to that offered by Okna, which offers a lifetime warranty on the frame & sash. It warranties factory painted colors for 10 years. The insulated glass units or IGU and hardware is covered for the lifetime of the original homeowner. For windows sold near the coast that hardware provision is good for 10 years. The installation and labor costs of repairs or replacements are not covered under the HiMark warranty.
