Silverline V1 Windows Reviews
Silverline, who was once purchased by Andersen Windows, is now owned by Ply Gem. Their vinyl windows, often labeled as builder grade, are sold mainly through big box stores. From a long term value perspective, Silverline windows are probably not the best option around.
The Silverline V1 vinyl window is one of two basic series they offer -- the V1 and V3. The V1 is the lower priced and slightly lower quality offering between the two. The V1 uses a slightly slimmer extrusion than the Silverline V3 window series and comes in what's called a beveled mainframe design. It's available in 3 window styles, along with a sliding patio door. The V1 can be ordered as a single hung, double hung, or as a horizontal sliding window. I've been searching around to find Silverline V1 window ratings, but so far have come up short.
The Silverline V1 Window Series gets a out of 5 star rating.

Silverline V1 Window Prices
Silverline V1 replacement window prices will run $250 to $400 fully installed. Because the Silverline V1 window is sold through the big box stores, they often provide installation to customers through the companies they subcontract with. Unfortunately, these companies are often paid per window for their installation servies, which can lead to shoddy installation. My recommendation is to find quality local installers on your own.
Comparable series include the Alside Excalibur series and the Reliabilt 3201 series.

Silverline V1 Windows Warranty
Silverline V1 window series comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty on most of the parts for workmanship defects. I don't believe that the Silverline window warranty covers any repair costs, nor would I expect it to at this price point.
The Silverline warranty cannot, to the best of my knowledge, be transferred to any subsequent owners -- essentially it's only good for the original buyer only. Because window warranties change over time, you should always read the warranty in full prior to purchase.
