Andersen Windows Prices

Andersen windows prices range from $65 to $110 per square foot for the window itself, depending on the window model and series you choose. Andersen manufactures 4 main models, including the 100, 200, 400 and A series. They also make an E series, although this is really Eagle windows (which they own). The company also owns Silverline windows, which make a lower end vinyl window that is sold in many of the big box stores. Their Renewal By Andersen brand is a franchised company and more or less operates independently of their parent company.

Andersen Windows And Doors enjoys a good reputation throughout the industry and is often cited as one of the top manufacturers in the industry. Part of this how often their name comes up based on all of the window companies they own. While it's true that Andersen Windows does make a nice quality wood window, it's probably fair to say that the other companies they own (with the exception of Eagle), are not known for producing high quality windows and doors.

Vinyl vs Fiberglass Windows

I am waiting for a proposal on the Soft Lite Imperial LS and Elements and the Provia Endure and Aeris. I really like the look and the materials used in vinyl and my biggest concerns were color fading, expansion and contraction and all around durability. But i think most vinyl windows have come a long way and i would be fine without the fiberglass which I know what you are saying about cost, ridiculous amount of money for Marvin, Andersen, Pella and Renewal by Andersen. I am not paying those crazy prices :)

You learn alot when you research :) and with artificial intelligence, I was concerned about vinyl windows expansion and contraction but what i read shows those things are minimized using the Super Spacer which is non metallic and works to hold in the heat vs the ones I have which were made in 1995 that have metal between the windows, even though they are wood. Thank god for honest people like yourself in providing this kind of feedback for consumers. Tremendous value you bring to this industry.

Andersen Windows Prices

I live outside of Chicago and need to replace 12 windows that are not the complicated process. So just what they called retrofit install. Was wondering what you thought. Lastly, thank you.

Anderson Renewal: $38K
Pella 350 Series Price: $32K
Alside Mezzo Price (with triple pane): $21.5K
Lindsay Windows Pinnacle Series: $16.5K
Simonton 6500 Windows Cost: $13.1K

Website Editor's Answer

Gennie, I think the Simonton 6500 series is nearly as good as the Pella 350. At $13K this is the best value on the table. So that Anderson windows prices quote is over $3K per/window. Obviously, that is really high.
