Silverline V3 Windows Reviews

Silverline vinyl windows are mostly solid in the "big box" stores and aren't considered exactly top of the line. We often get the question of who owns Silverline Windows? The company is owned by Ply Gem, who acquired them back in 2018. They are much more builder grade quality and should probably be reserved for house rentals and the like as they are not going to provide long term value for most homeowners.

The Silverline V3 vinyl window is the upgraded of the two window series offered from this company. The V3 has a better, heavier frame over the Silverline V1 window series, a slightly different frame design, and comes in several additional color options. Besides these changes, the windows are identical to one another. The Silverline V3 series is available as a single or double hung, horizontal slider, and in a sliding glass door.

The Silverline V3 Window Series gets a 3.2 out of 5 star rating.

Silverline V3 Window Prices

Silverline V3 should be priced at $300 to $450 per window fully installed for a normal sized window with retrofit installation. I said this on the Silverline V1 window, but I'm not a big fan who how the big box stores subcontract out their installation for the windows they sell. It tends to lead to work that is quick, but not always complete and thorough. I'm much prefer homeowners find quality local installers to do the work if they are going to but the Silverline V3 series vinyl window.

The V3 series is comparable in price to the following:

American Craftsman 70 Series Cost

Simonton 5050 Series Cost

-- V3 Window Cost: $300 to $450 fully installed --

Silverline V3 Windows Warranty

The Silverline vinyl V3 window series comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the parts and components for any workmanship defects. To the best of our knowledge, the Silverline Windows warranty does not covers any sort of repair costs, and frankly I wouldn't expect it at this price point.

The Silverline window warranty cannot be transferred to subsequent owners after the original buyer sells their home -- it only applies to the original buyer. Please note: window warranties can change over time, and often do. Always read the latest warranty in full before you buy this or any other replacement window.
