United vs ProVia

Thank you for the quick reply. The installer has also quoted me next window up in the line. If I'm not mistaken, this is the Elite series and the price only went up $2000. However, I am waiting on a Provia Endure quote. To be honest, I am afraid of what that cost is going to be. Lastly, I am only in this home for 5 more years and want the new windows to be s selling feature.

If you aren't going to be in the home more than 5 years, then the United windows option is probably just fine. (You won't get much return on investment with that timeline, although your home will be much more comfortable.) Furthermore, I would be curious to know what Elite window he is referring to. For instance, the Gentek Signature Elite is quite a solid vinyl window. In fact, I would actually say to spend the extra $2K on that as I think that would be a worthwhile investment. Maybe see what his quote on the ProVia Aspect would be. This is their drop down, but still a very good vinyl window.
