Vytex Grandview Windows Reviews

Vytex is, as a whole, a quality company that makes good vinyl windows. Their premium series are quite good, while their drop down series are solid mid range options.

The Vytex Grandview window is a pretty solid window. The Grandview is essentially the drop down option from the company's premium series - the Vytex Potomac-HP window and Fortis series.

The Grandview is more or less an upgraded Vytex Georgetown and consumers can expect this unit to achieve a .06 air infiltration and .26 U-value - both very solid numbers.

Are Vytex Grandview Windows Any Good? All in all, this series is solid buy for a drop down vinyl option if the price point is right.
The Vytex Grandview Series gets a 4.0 out of 5 star rating.

Vytex Grandview Warranty

The Vytex Grandview series has a limited lifetime warranty on the vinyl frame, the locks and hardware. The Grandview warranty should come with a glass breakage provision, although this might not still be the case.

The warranty from Vytex is not going to cover the labor costs associated with pulling the defective unit and replacing it -- homeowners will have to cover this cover. All in all, the warranty is a pretty decent one/

Vytex Windows Cost Grand View Series

I wanted to run this by you. I'm replacing 12 double hungs and 1 casement and I have a quote of $18K for Grand View series. That comes out to roughly $1400 each. I also had a quote on the Marvin Essentials Collection that came out to $1500 each. Are these good replacement window prices? And in terms of Vytex vs Marvin, which is the better option?

Website Editor's Answer

Bill, the Vytex quote seems high to me, especially for the Grand View series. Maybe if it was for the Potomac of Fortis Series, but not on the Grand View series. The Marvin windows cost quote seems quite fair to me. Their Essentials Collection is on the best fiberglass options out there. That's what I would go with if this were my two options.
