The Milgard Trinsic is a newer window that was introduced in 2018. From the perspective of price and energy efficiency, it's going to be similar to the Milgard Tuscany model. Stylewise, it has a more sleek look -- with narrower side rails and a nice modern look. This is a nice option to have on the west coast as the Tuscany is a solid buy, but has always had a kind of boxy look to it. Given the right price point, the Milgard Trinsic ought to be a strong consideration for any homeowner looking for a solid performer on the west coast.

The Milgard Trinsic offers a similar warranty as their other window series -- it is referred to as a Limited Lifetime Warranty and it applies to the original purchaser only. The Milgard window warranty covers the mainframe, sill and components and guarantees they are free of manufacturing defects. Pretty standard for a LLW.

The warranty covers parts and labor costs. The Milgard warranty can be transferred to a second owner, which is nice. However, this transferred warranty only lasts from the original date of purchase plus 10 years. This is kind of where they get you.
