Milgard Trinsic Window Warranty
The Milgard Trinsic offers a similar warranty as their other window series -- it is referred to as a Limited Lifetime Warranty and it applies to the original purchaser only. The Milgard window warranty covers the mainframe, sill and components and guarantees they are free of manufacturing defects. Pretty standard for a LLW.
The warranty covers parts and labor costs. The Milgard warranty can be transferred to a second owner, which is nice. However, this transferred warranty only lasts from the original date of purchase plus 10 years. This is kind of where they get you.
As with many warranties, the terms and conditions change from time to time. Homeowners should read the Milgard window warranty in full before you purchase the Trinsic series.
