Harvey Windows Prices

Harvey windows prices will range from say $750 to $2250 fully installed, depending on which series you purchase. So, their Slimoline vinyl windows will be in this $750 range, while their Majestic wood windows will run in the $2250 price range. Generally, Harvey is considered to be a quality window brand that is mostly known for their vinyl and storm windows. The bottom line for me is that this is a brand to consider if the price point is right and the installation company has a good reputation.

Harvey is headquartered in Waltham Massachusetts and is a popular choice in the state, as well as throughout much of the North East. Harvey makes good solid vinyl windows, although they aren't particularly cheap. Additionally, the company has a good reputation for manufacturing quality products and generally rates high on customer service.

I give Harvey Windows And Doors a 4.3 out of 5 star rating based on 4 homeowner reviews posted toward the bottom of this page. Scroll down to see links to Harvey windows prices on their specific window series and doors.

Harvey Windows Warranty

The company offers a Lifetime Warranty that covers the extrusion, screens, and all of the components such as locks, balances, sash retainers, hardware, etc. The insulated glass unit carries a 20 year warranty. The warranty is transferrable to one subsequent owner, although the second owner's warranty has only a 20 year warranty period (instead of the lifetime) from the original date of manufacture.

In general, the warranty is pretty standard in the industry. Always read the latest warranty information for any window you are considering buying to double check no changes have been made to the warranty terms, etc.

Harvey Windows vs Andersen Windows

Harvey vs Andersen - how do these two brands stack up to one another? Andersen Windows is certainly the better known of the two. And unlike Harvey, Andersen sells their windows in all fifty states. Harvey is much more of a regional seller, concentrating on the northeastern region (and headquartered in Massachusetts). They both enjoy quite good reputations in the industry I would say.

Marketing Comparisons: Both Harvey and Andersen sells their windows through a dealer network of local installation companies that might rep several brands of windows. This differs from the direct-to-consumer approach of say Apex Windows or Renewal By Andersen, the latter of which is a franchised "arm" of the Andersen Corporation. Of course, Andersen's dealer network is much larger than Harveys, but they still basically sell using very similar approaches.

Cost Comparisons: Harvey windows prices are expensive, relatively speaking, and this goes for their vinyl, wood clad, and storm windows. However, Andersen is probably a step up from Harvey in terms of cost. Part of that is because of the Andersen name, which allows them to up their prices.

Bottom Line: Both well respected companies that make quality products at pretty darn expensive prices. Harvey is much more known for vinyl window series, while Andersen is much more wood clad and composites.

Replacement Windows Cost

Hi John, I am replacing 8 windows in a condo in Northeast Ohio. I received multiple quotes. I have to throw out renewal by anderson and infinity from marvin due to budget. They were more than double and triple the cost of the ones below. The ones left are as follows:

Pella 250 Single Hung - $7890
Reliabilt by Atrium 3900 series double hung - $6475 Reliabilt 3900 Windows Reviews
Harvey Slimline Single Hung - $5261
Classic Double hung - $6272
Harvey Tribute Double hung - $6530
Pella Encompass Double hung - $9082 Pella Encompass Windows
Vytex Fortis - $7200
Vytex Potomac - $8,400

Which would be first, second and third recommendation? I'm eyeing the Harvey Tribute pretty heavily, but the Vytex Fortis is also catching my eye. Wondering what you would be eying most from the list. Thanks for any guidance you can provide.

Website Editor's Answer

Hi there Randy, great job getting all of those bids, you have a lot of good options! First for me would be Harvey Tribute Double hung as you said. This looks like a very solid price and assuming the installation company is well reviewed, then I would say this is the right call. I think I agree with your next call on the Vytex Fortis -- but I would say the Tribute and Fortis are roughly equal to one another.

If this were my project, I would make the call based on the companies doing the work. Honestly, this is going to make the bigger difference than the small differences in the quality of those two. Third would probably be the Harvey Classic Double hung for $6272. Have you taken a look at our Harvey windows prices page - this is gonna be a good place to start.

Harvey vs Seaway

I wanted to compare the Harvey line vs. Mezzo vs. Seaway. Also, I read some unfavorable reviews on the Harvey line and their customer service so I was a little nervous.

Brad - Homeowner - November 1, 2016

Website Editor's Answer

So, I would say that Seaway and Harvey are on par with one another, assuming you are comparing their premium series against one another, etc. Check out more on Alside Mezzo windows.
