PGT Winguard Windows Reviews
Our PGT Winguard Windows Reviews on this very sturdy window. The PGT WinGuard or 5000 series is available as either an impact window or non-impact. The series is designed specifically for locations near the coast, primarily throughout the state of Florida (as this is where PGT does the bulk of their installations.)
The Winguard came be ordered in a vinyl or aluminum frame, and is available as a single or double hung, slider, casement, and fixed or picture frame. A well rated and well constructed window in general, especially when ordered as an impact.

PGT Winguard Windows Prices
Pricing homeowners can expect to pay somewhere in the $1200 to $1800 price range for the Winguard Impact and $900 to $1400 for the non-impact version. We always provide a large cost spectrum due to the many variables that exist within the industry. The most important factors are going to include the installation type, the size of the windows, any upgrades you choose, and the company who is doing the actual work.
Comparable series include Viwinco Ocean View Windows and Wincore Windows.
PGT Winguard Windows Reviews
Hi there, I live here in Florida and am going to (need to) replace 3 of my slider windows because my neighbors house is very loud and annoying. Sorry, but it really is. Last week, I had a PGT sales guy out to the house and he quoted me on the PGT Winguard series for non-impact. The windows are pretty normal sized, but the price was $900 each. If I went with an impact, it would be $300 per window extra. Does that seem right?

Lisa, that seems on the high side to me, but it does not seem outlandish. Prices have really jumped in the past few years so unfortunately that is in the vicinity of market value. However, get a few more bids. You never know when a company will give you a price that is much more reasonable sounding. What have you got to lose?
