American Craftsman Windows Prices & Reviews
Home » Manufacturers » American Craftsman
American Craftsman windows prices range from $15 to $30 per square foot for the window itself, which does not include the cost of installation. This is at the very low end of the entire vinyl window costs range.
American Craftsman sells their windows primarily in the eastern half of the United States through big box stores such as Home Depot. The company sells two vinyl window models, the 50 and the 70 Series, both of which should be available in either a replacement or as a new construction window. The 50 model is the base or entry level option, while the 70 model is the slightly upgraded mode - check the specific pages to explore the differences between the two.
In general, American Craftsman windows are low quality. There are better cheap replacement windows available that I would have to recommend over either the 50 or 70 series. The American Craftsman are acceptable if you are looking for an inexpensive window for flipping houses or for rental properties, but I don't feel as if they are going to offer consumer's real long term value.

American Craftsman 70 Windows
American Craftsman 70 model is an upgrade from the AC 50 Series, although there's not too much that separates these two windows. At first glance, it is difficult to find the differences between the American Craftsman 50 and 70 series. The AC 70 window comes standard with a brick mould frame, slightly beefier weather stripping, locking insect screen, and an indicator lock.
