Comfort World 2000 Windows Reviews

At one point, Window World sold the Comfort World 2000 window, which was their low end vinyl window and the one they often promoted in their $189 installed ads. This model was actually a relabeled Alside Excalibur window. The company no longer offers this window on their website, or on the Comfort World website. It's probably a good thing since the window itself was unimpressive to put it bluntly.
At the time, Window World's 3 window options were Alside windows that were simply relabeled or rebadged with their own branding. Today, the company offers their Comfort World 4000 and 6000 window models that are relabeled Xact and AMI (Alside) series.
The Comfort World 2000 windows used a thinner frame (a very simple vinyl extrusion) from the 4000 and 6000, which allowed for more viewing area, but this hurt the window's performance numbers; .35 U-value and .18 air infiltration - both unimpressive. The 2000 model was an inexpensive and poorly made unit with a snap in sill - comparable to the entry line window from Silverline - see more Silverline window costs. The Comfort World 2000 Window Series gets a 3.8 out of 5 star rating.
