Comfort World 6000 Windows Reviews

The Comfort World 6000 window is made by AMI or Associated Materials Inc, a large building supply company. The 6000 model is just a relabeled Alside Ultramaxx window, which is Alside's premium vinyl window model. The Ultramaxx is a slightly better built window than the Sheffield Series with the sill and third lift rail, although these two models are virtually identical. The Ultramaxx is an acceptable option if the cost quote is competitive.

Standard features on the 6000 model include a 7/8" insulated glass unit, a sloped sill, recessed sash lift on hung windows, easy-tilt jamb liners, Intercept spacer system, recessed double locks, recessed tilt latch, finish coat, foam fills in sash and rails, and an extruded screen. Styles include a double hung, slider, awning, casement, bow, bay and basement window options. Interior color frame options include American Brown, Dark Oak, Cherry, Light Oak, Beige and White.
The Comfort World 6000 Window Series gets a 4.2 out of 5 star rating.

Comfort World 6000 Warranty

The Comfort World 6000 comes with the standard Window World Limited Lifetime warranty that applies to the original homeowners and covers all mechanical and vinyl window parts, the IGU or insulated glass unit, as well as an accidental glass breakage provision. This is a transferrable warranty that requires some a transfer fee and written notification to Window World.

As with most replacement window warranties, there are exclusions and limitations to the above provisions, which is why we always recommend that consumers read the warranties in full before they buy their windows.
