The Milgard Ultra is a pultruded fiberglass exterior with an interior wood veneer, a constant force balance, and is available in a number of different glass packages such as SunCoat and SunCoatMAX. The .080" fiberglass frame is available in 4 interior color options that include white, brownstone, tan, and matte black. Exterior color options include white, hunter green, tan, brownstone, matte black, and cranberry. Consumers can choose from 4 different hardware options such as white, brushed chrome, clay, and dark bronze. The Milgard Ultra window can be ordered as a single or double hung, slider, casement, awning, picture, radius, bay and bow window.

Milgard Ultra Window Warranty

The Milgard Ultra offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all of their windows (and doors) to the original purchaser. This covers the mainframe and sill and all components and warrants that they are free from manufacturing defects and workmanship. It covers both parts and labor costs and is transferrable to another owner, although the new owner warranty is only good for 10 years from the original date of purchase. As with all replacement and new construction window warranties, there are a number of exclusions that apply to their products that consumers should read in full prior to purchase.

Rick, the better window in my opinion is the Milgard Ultra. I'm not quite sure about North Central Idaho, to be honest. Here is my good and great list of windows.
