Atrium Windows Prices

Atrium windows prices range from $30 to $50 per square foot for the window itself. Atrium was at one time focused primarily on the new construction market, selling mainly to architects, builders and the like. More recently, they have gotten into the replacement window market, split between selling their own windows and selling to other companies who then relabel or rebadge them. This is the case with some of models sold by Reliabilt, Norandex, Ellison, American Window Systems, and others.

The company experienced hard times during the recession years of 2009 to 2010 and went through a bankruptcy, but is now back in business and seems to be going strong. For the most part, Atrium makes pretty average vinyl windows - they offer a whole slew of window series and models that vary based on the part of the country in which you live.

For consumers, the labeling and naming system can be quite confusing to wade through. For the most part, it is tough to find Atrium window reviews on specific models, probably because there are so many! At the end of the day, Atrium has a decent reputation for making a pretty solid vinyl window. They are often pointed to as one of the better options at the retail stores such as Lowes and HD.

Atrium Windows Warranty

Atrium offers a lifetime limited warranty on their vinyl windows and doors that includes the unit components, frames and sills. The insulated glass units or IGUs are warrantied for 30 years, although after the first 15 years, the company pays out a percentage of the total replacement cost based on a formula they have devised.

The vinyl window warranty is transferrable to one additional owner and lasts for 10 years from the original purchase date. As with all warranties, there are limitations and exclusions that apply so be sure to read the entire 2 page warranty on your specific product prior to purchase.

Atrium 3000 Windows Cost

Here are ALL the quotes I have gotten in the past two weeks:

Window World: 12,000.00

WindowsUSA: Their ‘factory direct’ window called “Alaskan Windows”. As described in previous email, this is the one that had the “Time Share” high pressure sales pitch.

19,916 instantly dropped to 18,920.00. Then their final price drop came in at 17,820.00

They also gave us a 100.00 Walmart gift card to do the presentation. A method time share condo places used to do.

Pella 250 Series = 33,629.00 (retail?). If we finance through them then the price is 28,586.00. Cash price 25,222. Find Pella 250 series reviews here.

Maximus Building Supply (Windows ONLY, no install): The brand they quoted was Windsor windows. 7,177.67

Ramco Home Improvements: They sell the Sunrise windows their quote was 21,477.00

Beau Maison Door & Window Co: They sell the ProVia Endure $18,775. More ProVia Endure Windows reviews here.

Crone Construction: Atrium 3000 window 12,000.00

This is the company that’s given me the ‘family discount’ because of who my daughter is married to. Their reputation is rock solid.

As you can see the price of the ProVia versus the Flim Flam Man prices of WindowsUSA is a difference of 955.00.

Due to budget considerations I wonder how Window World compares to Atrium 3000 (which is the Norandex eXtreme series 3000)

Website Editor's Answer

Tron, Dennis, you certainly have lots of bids here. The Crone Construction bid is certainly a good price and the Atrium 3000 is a solid option. This is a tough price to beat and you would think that your family link would mean they are going to take care of you should something go wrong — but that’s conjecture on my part. — I would pass on this one myself — why take the chance on some window that is basically “obscure” window.

I really like the ProVia Endure window, which is equivalent or better to the Sunrise Classic and that bid is $3K less — plus Beau Maison Door & Window Co Has excellent reviews. If this were my forever home, I would strongly consider this option.

I think it’s a choice between these two —
